When I ask wellness providers what's holding them back from integrating antiracism into their work they say:
"I don't know where to start"
"I don't want to appear performative or like I'm virtue signalling"
"I'm worried about getting it wrong"
I hear ya!

This self-paced online course is for you whether a) you currently feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed about antiracist work; b) you're established in your profession but know that there are gaps in equity and inclusivity in your work; or c) you've begun your antiracist journey, believe that true wellness includes social justice, and are ready for your work to reflect this.
Here's what you'll be learning...
This self-paced online course takes the guesswork out of integrating equity and antiracism into your work so you can align your personal and business values, create an inclusive environment for your clients and students, and grow and serve a richly diverse community.
Module 1
Awareness
This module introduces embodiment work and asks you to reflect on your positionality as a wellness provider or educator and your purpose for engaging in antiracist work. You will learn about how systemic racism operates in the wellness industry, and develop the language to discuss the connections between systemic racism, social justice and wellness.
Module 2
Inquiry
In this module, you will examine your approach to wellness and/or your wellness practice within a landscape of systemic racism. Through a series of modules and workbook prompts, Dr. Charles will guide you to examine your professional identity, values and online presence to identify gaps in representation, equity, diversity, and inclusion in your business and the communities you currently serve.
Module 3
Alignment
This applied module guides you to (re)develop your business missions, identify your professional priorities for diversity, equity and inclusion, consider your financial commitments to racial equity, develop antiracist statements and policies to abide by (with clients/partners/affiliates), and incorporate best practices to client care that are rooted in equity.
Module 4
Embodiment
This practical module features the expertise of a trauma-informed somatic practitioner. Through a series of body-oriented practices, you will learn what it means to embody antiracism as a wellness provider or educator, how to build trusting and sustaining relationships with clients who identify as racialized, how to foster transparency and inclusivity, and how to regulate your nervous system when offering care to BI&POC communities.
Module 5
Activation
In this module, you will learn how to speak on principles of equity, diversity and antiracism online and in your sphere of influence, not simply during national crises and social justice uprisings. You will practice your commitment to antiracist advocacy in your everyday messaging and recommendations about wellness and begin putting your anti-oppressive policies into action in your work with students/clients.
Module 6
Sustainability
This module will help you to build the stamina and resilience you need to stay engaged with the work of antiracism in the long term. Dr. Charles will guide you to develop plans to measure the impact of your advocacy, policies and actions on the communities you serve, to ensure continued antiracist learning and to build a community to hold you accountable.
There is so much work to be done in my field when it comes to antiracism and inclusivity, and now I feel that I have the tools to make a real difference in the communities around me…. I knew before doing this program that I wanted to be a co-conspirator in social justice, but I wasn't sure how to go about it and didn't want to come off as performative. This course has truly helped me gain a deeper understanding of this work and build it into the core of my business and life. While I still have a long way to go, I feel good about the foundation that I got through Embodying Equity.

The biggest challenge (that led me to EE) was that I found myself wanting more from wellness spaces to align with my values ... and not knowing how I could make an impact to change them as a sole practitioner. This challenge was a bit daunting, and made me feel unsure of myself... After EE, I realized that any amount of anti-racist work is still needed. Small or big, it can still have a real world impact... Make the jump!!! If anti-racist and social justice work is something that you value (which, hopefully you already do), the information [in EE] is jam packed with resources and tools to help you fully showcase that.

The content of this program is really good and actionable. Most of the antiracism groups/courses I've done have been a lot more theoretical... I guess I went into this course thinking we'd dig into how we practice. I'm not sure I realized it would also encompass how we structure and do business! My whole business/practice is getting a makeover :)

Is this program for me?
Here are 6 types of people Embodying Equity is perfect for, so you can decide if it's a good fit.
You've read antiracist books, but you're struggling to take action on antiracism as a wellness provider.
What if I told you that antiracism is not simply a strategic or intellectual process, but a body-oriented practice? This course offers learnings that move beyond the mind to help you bring your whole self into this work to support a diverse community and meet your students' or clients' needs.
You're tired feeling guilty about your lack of antiracist work and are ready for your professional work to reflect the holistic vision of wellness you believe in.
Nagging feelings of guilt, shame and defensiveness are not uncommon. This course helps you release the emotions that prevent you from unlearning internalized systems of racism. With the support of a community of wellness providers on their journeys to transform wellness, you'll be encouraged every step of the way.
You've just begun your personal antiracist journey and want to learn how to apply these values into your business.
As elusive as business culture might seem, your clients and audience inevitably feel it. If you're ready to take a critical look at your business practices and reshape your business so that it is equity-focused, you've come to the right place.
You've been reading, listening and learning over the past year and are ready to move beyond passive conversation, walk the talk and take action.
Over the past year you've diversified your social media feeds, reshared posts on Instagram, committed to learning from people of color but you know there is more to be done. This course inspires embodied action so you can show up for your students or clients with equity and care.
You know antiracist training will be helpful for your clients or students, but you haven't taken the leap. It's a big financial commitment & you're nervous you don't know enough yet.
It's never too late to begin learning and unlearning. An investment in this course is a financial commitment towards antiracism and one step in a lifelong practice. What better a time to commit than now, as the world is waking up to the realities of systemic racism, alongside a community who's ready to make wellness accessible?
You've tried to implement equitable practices into your wellness biz, but not sure they've made a difference. You know you can do more, but don't know how and you're overwhelmed trying to DIY!
Without a guide or community to support you on your antiracist journey, overwhelm is almost inevitable. This course offers you professional guidance and a clear plan of action to embody antiracism in your work with clients, a vibrant community of support, and the tools to build resilience so that you can continue this work.
To sum it up: You don't need to have it all figured out. It's okay if you've only just begun your personal antiracism journey and feel nervous or worried about getting it wrong. You just need the willingness to learn and step outside a place of comfort to show up for your community as an engaged, anti-racist and inclusive wellness practitioner or educator.

You can find just about anything online for free these days and it's a great way to start learning about an issue.
But you're likely here because you've been reading ... blogs, books and other sources of free information, and you've been trying to figure out how to apply this information to your own life and business with little success.
You can continue down this path OR you can invest in a plan, a coach (that's me) and a community of accountability to help you embody and implement antiracism into your wellness business to transform the way you work and show up for your clients.
Learning from Black, Indigenous and people of color by financially supporting their work, their programs and their courses is an important part of doing antiracist work.
The Embodying Equity course is delivered through a series of workbooks and modules which include video lectures, audio recordings and workbooks.
Additional community interaction and discussion will take place through Slack and office hours will be held via Voxer.
Live group coaching calls and 1:1 consulting calls will take place over Zoom.

I hear ya! And here's the truth: if you're really invested in making a change in the way you approach wellness, engaged antiracist work takes time. This course saves you time trying to DIY, by offering you a coach to guide you through this work, a comprehensive plan and group support and accountability- because healing racism in wellness is a collective process!
I recommend you set aside 2-3 hours per week for this course. This includes time to watch the lessons, digest the content, attend live or watch the recorded weekly coaching calls and reflect in the workbooks. You can seek out additional support via office hours, and receive Slack support from the community whenever you need it over your access period.
Working with me 1:1 as a consultant to implement the holistic body-mind method I teach in Embodying Equity is normally $500/hr. This course includes over 7 hours of video and audio content including modules, somatic training and meditations, workbooks, journal prompts and group coaching for $897 (Classic Package) or two monthly payments of $450.
An investment in this course is one step in your antiracist journey and commitment to anti-oppression and equity in your life and wellness practice.
Without a guide to offer you accountability and a community of support it's easy to feel defeated, frustrated or even overwhelmed. The holistic bodymind approach to antiracism taught in this course offers a unique approach to antiracist work that is less about strategy and more experiential so that you can actually embody equity and antioppression in your work with clients and access the tools to build resilience so that you can continue with this work as a lifelong practice.
This program is for you whether you've just begun your personal journey to antiracism or have been learning and speaking up about anti-racism for years and want to redesign your wellness business and work with clients to reflect your commitment to equity.
It's okay if you feel nervous or worried about getting it wrong. You just need the willingness to learn and step outside a place of comfort to transform your business, show up for your community as an engaged, anti-racist and inclusive wellness provider, and grow and serve a richly diverse community.
